Naperville Family Pictures
This year’s 2014 “Polar Vortex” hit Naperville with something like -53 temps (real feel) and a bit of snow.
The babies have been begging to go out and play in the fluffy white stuff for weeks (long before the temp dropped to freeze-your-skin-off-your-body temps) and the combination of winter break, snow, school closings and cabin-fever got the best of us when the temp started to finally warm to safer temps. This little girl had been practicing her “Snow Angel” technique ever since she started seeing it on her favorite cartoons (thanks Caillou). We finally tried it much to her fabulous delight. (The pic turned out great. The snow angel – well, the technique needs a little work…)

Oh my goodness, that is COLD. Cute photo.
Marie, it was ridiculously cold!
awwww! Makes me wish I had taken my camera out last week! Instead I was hibernating.
Oh Jill, I really wanted to hibernate, but the force of the little ones is strong… 😉
This image gave me a big ole grin on my face 😀 SO FUN!
Thanks Katherine! I’m so glad you like it!
I just love that face!!!
Thanks Kristy! She kept trying to have her eyes open for a picture but the snow was so, well, bright!
BRRRRRR!
It was sooooo cold. To the point that when it went *up* to 9 degrees we barely zipped our coats!
Love the image – made me laugh! 🙂
Thanks Gretchen! It certainly is of a happy girl!
I love that you can see the pure joy on her face!
