This was especially inspiring to me today, as a representation of firsts and faith.

Today, I resigned from my full-time day job (and my regular 55 mile daily commute in the Chicago suburbs) to focus more attention on Appelman Images Photography and on my family.  It will be a challenge (to say the least!), but who can argue with placing priorities where they belong?

I’m nervous, excited, anxious, excited, terrified, happy, excited and terrified.  Not necessarily in that order.

So I would be remiss if I didn’t say “THANK YOU” to those that have and do support me and this big LEAP!  This is where the rubber meets the road, so here I go!

Taking that first (giant) step on a long staircase.
