I pretty much wake up and fall asleep thinking about photography.

What can I work on?  What style am I drawn to? What do I want to avoid?

How can I capture those tiny moments of beauty for my clients and their families?

So I’m constantly trying things out.

Practicing…

Learning…

Making mistakes and…

Stumbling on spectacular, wonderful perfection-in-imperfection in all the little things.

Today I was working on different lighting situations outside – this one is essentially mid-day side-lighting (it was about 3pm on a Summer day).

How wonderful to catch the highlights in her messy bebe pony-tail, her teeny shadow and the chalk art she was creating.
