Naperville Kid Photographer shooting a Mini Session at Home
Elsa Crowns and Frozen Songs
Just a quick post today – my little one is, like most other little girls – obsessed with the movie Frozen right now.
“Let it Go” is on constant replay by our own personal karaoke singer – even if she doesn’t quite have all the words and sort of quietly whispers gibberish to get through the parts she hasn’t learned yet.
Today’s Memorial Day activities had her putting on a brand new lacy eyelet dress (the color of snow) and asking me to make her a new crown (blue, the color of ice) so she could practice her Frozen song and dance.
And by the way, we are to call her “Elsa” from now on – and if we slip and call her by her given name, we are quickly corrected.
The whimsy of this called out to me for a black and white film look, so I present to you here – a photo my own little Queen Elsa.
By the way, you can see the first pic of this set and so many more of my pics in my one-photo-a-day 365 Project.

LOVE everything about this: the eyelet dress, the messy summer hair, and the scribbled – I mean colored – crown. 🙂
hahaha yes! Her crown is really such an appropriate addition, yes? Thanks so much, Gretchen!
Awww….to be a kid again. Such great pictures to reflect back on. I love the last picture! I hope you get it printed
Well thank you so much, Joella! I think I might! 😀
