Alas, the time has come to start a blog for Appelman Images Photography.

Many of you out there already know me – and if you don’t , well – here’s a starter:

• I’m a mama
• My favorite snacky is probably salted caramel hot chocolates. Or just salted caramel. Or just caramel…. Or – Chocolate.
• My first bebe is a boxer doggie named Evelyn, and now we have Baron Gustaf von Lettucetooth. We call him Gus for short.
• I’m a mid-western girl with dreams of warmer climates. Most of my family has moved to the western side of the country, but my roots are firmly planted here in Illinois. But I sure do like to visit those warmer temps when it’s cold here in Naperville!
• I’ve been photographing things as far back as I can remember.
• I made my first camera – a pin-hole set-up using cardboard and instruction in a Girl Scout handbook – when I was probably 6 or 7 years old.
• I took my love for photography to the next level in 2013, and now here I am ready capture your special moments for you!
