I have a wonderful friend that I met back in 2008 when I got married.

She did my makeup and my wedding party’s hair (and honestly, I should have had her do my own hair, but I went to a salon instead – THAT was a mistake.  My hairdo actually fell before I even got to my car after leaving the salon.) But happily, Kasia was at my home when I arrived and fixed up my hair lickity-split.  No stress, no worries.

My makeup was glamorific and she even did some eyelash extension things that stayed on most of my honeymoon (and I looked faaabbbb!)

Anyway –

I took the bebes to see her for an impromptu visit today, and she graciously not only made us all lunch, but cut my bebe son’s hair and even posed for a last minute, totally unplanned modeling session.  (I wanted to try something out with the light in her dining room – luckily she looks terrific and very chic every day, so she was ready to go with basically no notice).
